Reminders Before Riding
Wear PFD and Other Protective Clothing / Equipment
- You must wear an appropriate personal flotation device (PFD) at all times.
- Normal swimwear does not adequately protect against forceful water entry into rectum or vagina.
Severe internal injuries can occur if water is forced into body cavities as a result of falling into water or being near the jet thrust nozzle.
- Additional protective equipment (such as footwear, gloves and goggles) are recommended.
It is very dangerous to drink and ride.
Never get on a WaveRunner if you have been drinking.
Even a slight decline in attentiveness increases the possibility of a serious accident - much more so on water than on land.
Check the weather
- Check the weather on the radio, TV or other source before leaving. Check the forecast for the next several days and pay special attention to wave height and wind speed.
To help ensure that you are able to use your WaveRunner properly and soundly, please be sure to read the Owner's Manual thoroughly after purchase. Also be sure to understand the contents of all warning labels on the product.
