YAMAHA FZR continues to dominate APBA national racing circuit

Report on YAMAHA FZR continues to dominate APBA national racing circuit.

Yamaha FZR, piloted by Chris MacClugage, Wins 8 out of 8 Pro StockClass Motos on the APBA Watercross National Tour

Yamaha continues its absolute domination of the Pro-Am Runabout Stock class after sweeping Rounds 3 & 4 of the APBA National Tour in Lake Elsinore, CA on May 9th and 10th.

Piloting a Yamaha FZR, Chris MacClugage has won every Pro-Am Runabout Stock Class moto this season, leading every race from the starting gun to the finish line.
"The FZR continues to rip out of the hole faster than any other boat on the water. And once that lead has been established, it's clear that no one can catch up," MacClugage said. "With the FZR being in its first year of production, it is truly amazing to see it outperform all of the competitive boats that have so many more races under their belt."
In the APBA Pro-Am Runabout Stock class, the modifications allowed are minimal, making the base platform choice a crucial decision for the racers. The FZR's domination of this stock class clearly shows that it comes out of the crate in a class of its own.
Rounds 5 & 6 of the APBA National Tour will be held in Myrtle Beach, SC on June 6th and 7th.
