Basic Structure of Performance Dampers
Performance Dampers are specially designed with our know-how to exert damping effects even on tiny movement of vehicle body.
Performance Dampers are designed and developed based on high-pressure nitrogen gas-charged oil dampers used in suspensions, but there is a huge difference in their amount of displacement.
Normal oil dampers have displacement on a centimeter scale, while Performance Dampers are on a micrometer scale. Various innovations have been made to optimize performance with a very small amount of displacement.
Performance Damper Damping Force Characteristics
Major Technical Features
POINT1Improved ultra-low piston speed characteristics (effective on minute displacement of chassis)
POINT2Cancellation of gas reaction force (eliminates pressurization on the chassis)
POINT3Optimization of damping properties (saturation characteristics)
