Generate a QR code for the supporter to send VPB requests.

Y-TRAC Rev Settings

Scan the supporter's QR code and authorize them on Y-Connect.

Y-Connect Settings

You need to scan the supporter’s QR code or open their link before you can receive their messages. When scanned using the device used during rides, you can approve or deny the VPB request via Y-Connect.

*Some iOS apps (such as X and Gmail) have limitations on how they handle links, which can prevent shared links from opening properly.

Sending Messages as a Supporter

Create and Send Boards Using Presets, History, or Input Mode

Select the rider to whom you want to send the message. You can pre-register up to six riders.

Set the board you want to send as the “Selected Board” and tap the send button. Messages are displayed for 60 seconds by default, but the supporter can cancel the transmission at any time.

Receiving Messages on the Vehicle Meter

Messages sent from Y-TRAC Rev are transmitted to the vehicle meter via Y-Connect. Messages are displayed for 60 seconds by default, but the supporter can cancel the transmission at any time.

Preset Boards

Up to 30 designs can be registered as board presets. Create personalized messages for the rider or team!

Register YAMAHA’s Preset Messages

Commonly used messages are preloaded on the Import Presets screen. You can choose from these boards and have them added to your board presets.

BOX CALL BIKE CHANGE Instructs the rider to return to the pit for a reason (bike swap)
BOX CALL PROBLEM Instructs the rider to return to the pit for a reason (issue encountered)
BOX CALL FUEL Instructions to refuel
PIT IN Instructions to pit in
UP Instructions to improve position
EASY Instructions to race calmly
PULL AWAY Instructions to increase speed and extend the lead

Create Custom Messages

In Input Mode, you can customize colors and messages to set them on the Selected Board. Afterward, you can add them to the Preset Board by tapping the "+" button.

Home card

In vehicles subject to VPB, the VPB card is displayed on the Y-Connect home screen. Details of each display item are given below.

Details of each display item on the 'Supporters' tab screen of the VPB detail screen are given below.

Request status

The details of each display item on the Status tab screen of the VPB detail screen.

Riders can review a history of when and which supporters they have established connections, and what VPB messages they have received from which supporters.

Y-TRAC Rev communication status Displays the login status of authorised users (supporters) and the status of communication with Y-TRAC Rev.

VPB communication effective remaining time Countdown display of the remaining time that an authorised Y-TRAC Rev user can send VPB (remaining time is based on the point of transmission).

Vehicle communication status display section Indicates whether the vehicle side is capable of displaying VPB.
