Eight picking units equipped with our unique tips pick the selected cells and place them at the specified position.
Picking
It comes equipped with eight picking units that approach the specified XYZ coordinates with high speed and high precision.
Each unit is controlled individually and automatically corrects its tip position deviation (auto-calibration function). This realizes precise picking in a short time with high efficiency. By combining this with Precision Tip™, a tip part exclusively developed by Yamaha for cell picking, it is possible to accurately pick a variety of samples from single cells to 3D cells, liquid culture medium and semi-solid culture medium.
Gel Picking
Z-stack imaging allows accurate positioning and picking of samples with different heights.
Highly Efficient Picking of Suspended Cells
Suspended cells can be picked more efficiently by using a microcavity plate.
Wide Range of Sizes Supported
It supports a wide range of cell sizes, from single cells to 400 µm.
Dispensing
By controlling the dispensed volume and dispensing speed of the picked cells, samples can be loaded to the exact location with minimal damage. Delicate cell handling contributes to improving the reliability of research.
The position and number of the dispensing destination layout can be set flexibly. It is also equipped with a sorting function that makes it possible to arrange cells in a specified order, such as "from smallest to largest", with parameters such as cell size and number. The cell layout functions are fully outfitted.
Any container can be used, including microplates, MPS plates, and PCR tubes. It supports a variety of research needs.
Flexible Dispensing Destination Layouts
The position and number of dispensing destinations can be freely set, such as setting them in a circle or lattice.
Sorting Function
Cells can be arranged in the desired order using parameters such as their size or number.
Various Dispensing Destination Plates
It can dispense into a specified container, such as a microplate, MPS plate, or PCR tube.
