The PW-X4 is driven by a more powerful 48V battery that gives you greater e-MTB performance for total riding freedom in the mountains. With a massive 100 Nm of peak torque (boost mode), this high-end e-MTB motor gives you outstanding potential on steep hills and in deep sand or mud. You can also run dual batteries with the PW-X4 when you need extended range for longer rides over extreme terrain.

02|BLE Yamaha app

PW-X4 powered e-MTBs are supported by Yamaha’s BLE app that gives the rider access to a wide range of functions and in-depth data. Ownership authentication gives added security, and users can access information on battery and charging settings, fitness, riding log and much more. Competitive riders can also compare their individual riding performances with other app users.

03|Instant assist

Every time you ride with the PW-X4 you will appreciate the instant assist provided by Yamaha’s industry-leading Zero Cadence technology. Specially developed software ensures that as soon as you depress a pedal the power assist is activated immediately – particularly useful when you’re on an uphill start or if you’re pulling away from a standstill in deep sand or muddy terrain.
