Compatible with Yamaha’s latest drive units, this new App is designed to enhance the overall riding experience by giving you instant control over everything from security, maintenance and assist level through to fitness, range and riding history.

Adding another dimension to every ride

Whether you’re riding in the mountains, touring through the countryside or commuting in the city, every ride is different. Designed to give you a whole new level of instant controllability together with up to the minute information, the new Yamaha App gives you the ability to get even more enjoyment, performance and efficiency from every journey.
From the second you turn your e-Bike on through to your arrival at the destination, the Yamaha App is working silently to help you make the best decisions – every step of the way. From anti-theft security through to notifications on battery status and last parking location, this smart and intuitive new software lets you concentrate on getting maximum satisfaction from every ride. You’ll also have access to a range of special Yamaha functions that enable you to achieve optimal performance by choosing the best assist levels for the circumstances – and you can even view a visualization of the riding experience to boost your motivation when the going gets tough!

01|Compatible with Yamaha drive units

The new App is fully compatible with all e-Bikes which are equipped with the latest generation Yamaha drive unit. With an extremely wide range of functions – including a number of Yamaha-exclusive features – the new App adds an exciting new dimension to e-Bike ownership.

02|Enhanced anti-theft security

A key feature of the Yamaha App is the Authentication function that provides added security. When you buy your new e-Bike you receive a QR code that enables you to generate a unique authentication code. Without this code your Yamaha drive unit will not deliver any power assist, and the battery will not function.

03|Customizable

With the Yamaha App installed on your smartphone you can customize it by adding your bike dealer’s contact information, making it easy to contact them to book a service or order parts and accessories – and the home page greets you by name and gives an overview of battery status and available range.

04|Maintenance

With the Yamaha App you will be notified when your e-Bike needs its next service – and you can also set maintenance reminders either by the date or odometer. It’s also easy to create records of previous services carried out, enabling you to view what work was carried out and which items were replaced.

05|Instant controllability

The Yamaha Assist Tuning feature makes it quick and easy to choose the best assist level, giving you instant controllability to suit different riding styles, type of terrain and distance to destination. You can quickly select one of four default settings – Comfort, Urban, Sports or Performance – or you can customize the assist characteristics by fine tuning everything from zero cadence parameters to power limit, speed and response.

06|Ride Screen

Ride Screen complements the information you can view on the e-Bike’s display. Featuring riding related data including pedal power, cadence, calories, and much more, it provides you with Real-time Coaching information that motivates you to achieve your personal fitness goals.
