Yamaha’s Outdoor Power Equipment (OPE)
Group Donates Multi-Purpose Engines to
Milton High School

February 7, 2025 | YMUS

Recently, YMUS’s OPE Group donated 24 Multi-Purpose, V-twin engines to the Automotive and Engine departments at Milton High School in Milton, Wisconsin. This generous donation of engines, valued at approximately $60,000, will take the curriculum of their engine and automotive classes to the next level, enabling students to learn all about these V-Twin engines, the EPA regulations with fuel mapping, engine control units (ECU’s), V-Twin balancing, components, and more. Currently, the school only has single cylinder engines, so this donation will allow the Engine Department to grow and help the students learn about V-Twin engines.

The Milton School District was extremely grateful for Yamaha’s generous donation to the school and the new learning opportunities the engines will provide to its automotive students. Matt Lee, Milton High School’s Automotive Instructor, noted how excited he was to develop all new curriculum around the new Yamaha V-Twin engines, and the students are equally excited to get started with them!

A big One Yamaha congratulations goes out the OPE Group for their donation, which will truly help make an impact on the next generation of powersports technicians in our industry.
