Region-Focused Model Education Program
in Latin America
A Latin America CBU Training took place at Incolmotos Yamaha on November 22nd, 2024.
During the training, service staff from Latin American countries – Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, and Venezuela – learned about the specifications and advanced mechanisms of the latest models. As the latest models are introduced to new markets, it is crucial for after-sales service staff to understand their mechanisms and how to maintain them. Having knowledgeable staff is essential for providing customers with peace of mind when riding a Yamaha motorcycle. Service staffs with a wide range of knowledge about advanced mechanisms can support the daily lives of Yamaha customers and their motorcycles.
The service meeting covered the medium-term plan presented by the YMC service team, along with the market overview and activity reports by the representatives of each country. We were able to identify common issues in Latin American countries, and participants actively exchanged their views and opinions. YMC will further study the high-priority activities in Latin America as discussed during the meeting, aiming to improve our service infrastructure further.
Incolmotos has been coordinating regional education programs in Latin America for some time now. The learning session and meeting were conducted in Spanish, which ensured a full understanding of the topics by the participants. The service staff who participated in this event will strengthen dealerships and provide staff training in their respective countries. These connected efforts will improve Yamaha's after-sales service, create more Yamaha fans, and increase the number of lifelong Yamaha customers.
