EUROPE CONTEST REPORT 2018

The National Technician Grand Prix(NTGP) preliminary contest was held in Europe in March 2018. As the result of the qualifying round, Ville Sundberg ,Adrien Cousin,and Alan Simmonds will enter the World Technician Grand Prix.

In my case the 2 days of tight competition ended with the best possible result. So after short surprised moment the feeling was great and being able to be the best in Europe still gives motivation for everyday work.

Q.What do you think is important as a technician?

Being able to give the customer always the best possible service. Customer satisfaction is maybe the most important thing in our business.

Q.Let us know your personal goal for the WTGP2018.

Representing Europe and Finland by giving my best in this demanding competition. Also meeting and getting to know colleagues also from outside of Europe. And of course I'm waiting to visit Japan and Yamaha for the first time.

I’m very proud to have won my National contest. Representing France in an international event is the perfect rewards to all the effort I did the past few years.

Q.What do you think is important as a technician?

As a technician, my main target is to give the maximum to reach or overtake the customers’ expectations. This is always a challenge and I do like it.

During this once in a life experience, I want to give my very best and demonstrate that if you’re passionate by what you’re doing and hard worker you can build up strong skills even being young.

It was an amazing moment when I realized that I had won the NTGP. It gave a real sense of achievement. Since that time there has been a lot of positive publicity; in local newspapers, magazines and social media. Customers have also responded very positively.

Q.What do you think is important as a technician?

As a technician I believe it is important to continually improve. Motorcycles are in a continuous state of development, and we as technicians must develop the necessary skills to be able to provide the after sales service that customers require.

My personal goal for the WTGP is foremost to enjoy the experience. On the day I hope to perform to the best of my ability.

RUSSIA, KAZAKHSTAN CONTEST REPORT 2018

The National Technician Grand Prix(NTGP) preliminary contest was held in Russia in May 2018. Ivan Pozdeev won it and will therefore enter the World Technician Grand Prix.
