How much is the initial investment cost?

Beside SMT line, appropriate environment is required to make good product.

What environment is required to install the SMT line?

There are several points you have to care such as infrastructural conditions, environmental conditions, and secure the route which equipment are carried in from outside to installation site.

Are YR/YS・Sigma・iPulse series data compatible?

They are compatible via data conversion software.

The factory floor is slightly uneven.

Equipment is supported by four or more legs with a height adjustment mechanism, and the height of leg can be adjusted to make level. However, it may not be able to be adjusted sufficiently depending on the situation, and it may not be possible to maintain the stability and level of the equipment. Can the installation work be done by myself?

In order to clarify the guarantee conditions of the equipment, installation work will be conducted by the service engineers of the Yamaha authorized distributors.

How long does installation work take?

Approximately 0.5 to 2.0 days depends on equipment are required per unit from the completion of positioning at the designated location to set-up. If you purchase software options, setup may take some additional time. Please contact Yamaha authorized distributor or Yamaha for details.

What is the manufacturr's warranty condition?

Yamaha will provide no-charge repair or replacement of parts to the applicable range of equipment, software, and genuine parts in case of the event of failure or failure cause of the design of Yamaha's products or improper assembly of equipment, software, or genuine parts that have been installed, accepted and confirmed within the scope of Yamaha's responsibility.

Where can we get a maintenance parts list?

Recommended maintenance parts list is published by model on the website "Yamaha Support and Service WEB" for existing Yamaha user.

How can we obtain equipment manuals and other materials?

By registering with Yamaha Support and Service WEB website for existing users, you can view and download the manuals for the equipment online.
The booklet manual is also sold to existing users. Please contact an Yamaha authorized distributor for details.

We purchased used SMT equipment manufactured by Yamaha. Where can we buy spare parts?

Even secondhand machine user, Yamaha will sell genuine parts as soon as complete the registration of user and Yamaha equipment.

Can we join standard level or skill-up level operation training?

Yamaha offers general training, re-training, and skill-up training by engineers from Yamaha authorized distributors at our customers' factory. There are some cases it is charged service. For details, please contact an Yamaha authorized distributor.
For customers who wish to undergo advance level training, we provide training by Yamaha engineers at Yamaha facilities in each country as charged service.

We would like to move or relocate Yamaha SMT equipment.

Since precise adjustment work after the relocation is required, Yamaha authorized distributor provides service for relocation and adjustment of equipment.

Remote support service is not only to provide quick response for problems when it was occur, but also advise for preparation of component recognition data and tuning of inspection machine data.

Can we have manufacturer's maintenance even for second hand equipment?

Even for the secondhand machine users, Yamaha provide charged after-support services from Yamaha authorized distributor as soon as complete registration of users and Yamaha equipment.
