YMUS introduced the all-new new Viking Side by Side at its 2013 Dealer Meeting held in Las Vegas in June. The Viking immediately established itself as a class leader and is the first of many SxS models planned for introduction in the next few years.
YMUS has partnered with the University of California, Davis to study the effectiveness of the R-MAX for agricultural spray applications in the United States.
YMUS competed in the annual Japanese Business Association softball tournament in Southern California. The 2013 tournament had 46 teams from 42 different companies and YMUS earned it best finish ever, making it to the Championship game and finishing in 2nd place.
Numerous demo events were conducted across the United States to support the introduction of the Bolt. The entry level cruiser created a great deal of excitement among consumers at each demo event.
The Bassmaster Classic is considered the "Super Bowl of bass fishing," where the winner is crowned the champion of bass fishing. The 2014 Classic was held on Lake Guntersville, Alabama, with 16 of the total 56 anglers sponsored by Yamaha. Yamaha sponsored anglers took the top four spots while running the VMAX SHO!
YMUS offers a lunch time exercise class for employees to promote a healthy lifestyle. The class regularly has over 20 participants and meets 3 times per week.
