Yamaha Brasil was founded in 1970 in Guarulhos (São Paulo State) and 15 years later the factory was moved to Manaus (Amazon) in the Free Zone of Manaus.
The company currently has approximately 3.000 employees in its two units.
With 450 dealers around the country, sales are based on Motorcycles, Marine and ATV's.
Production of Motorcycles and Outboards and also exported to the Americas, Europe and Oceania. Argentina, Peru and Uruguay are Brazilian subsidiaries.

In 2013 The Doctor visited Brazil to assist in the Factor 125 re-launch. Rossi visited the Yamaha Brazil headquarters, where he took photos, gave autographs and even danced the samba delighting the employees.
