Yamaha Motor Canada(YMCA)
Yamaha Motor Canada Ltd (YMCA) was incorporated in April 1973 and is currently dedicated to bringing snowmobiles, motorcycles, ATV, side by side, outboards, boats, WaveRunners, and outdoor power equipment such as generators, pressure washers, water pumps and snowblowers to the Canadian market. To date, YMCA has 170 employees. Many of their staff are dedicated enthusiasts with their finger on the pulse of the Canadian customer.
Yamaha Motor Finance Canada
Yamaha Motor Canada Ltd. has recently announced the creation of a new, wholly owned subsidiary company which will provide financing services to its Canadian Motorsport and Marine dealers. The new company will begin offering inventory financing to its Canadian dealers on January 1, 2015.
YMCA has partnered with Deerhurst Resort to offer guests an opportunity to explore the Yamaha experience. Located in Ontario’s famous Muskoka region, Deerhurst is a 760 acre, lakeside, 4 season resort that attracts high-end clientele. This partnership is great opportunity for people to ride Yamaha’s snowmobiles, and off-road vehicles at Deerhurst, when they might not normally have the opportunity.
YMCA offers their customers the chance to test ride the latest Yamaha’s before they purchase. From coast to coast, Yamaha fans are given the opportunity to ride snowmobiles, motorcycles and ATV’s free of charge.
Children’s Christmas Party
Each year, YMCA hosts a Christmas party for their employee’s children. This year’s party was held at Lego Land in Toronto. Families enjoyed a complimentary brunch, had their photos taken with Santa and explored everything Lego Land had to offer.
Team Building Exercises
YMCA’s human resource department organizes several team building exercise days throughout the year. Employees from different departments are teamed together for such events as Employee Tech GP and the Revs your Heart branding exercise. Throughout the day, employees enjoy fun challenges, catered lunch and prizes.
Yamaha Motor Canada is a proud supporter of the Canadian Mental Health Association. Not only are members of the CMHA employed in YMCA’s cafeteria, but each year, all proceeds from the annual Christmas Party are donated to the CMHA.
