October 11-12, 2015
Yamaha has secured national championship titles in the 150cc and 250cc classes of the 2015 Indonesia Road Racing Championships. Hendriansyah, riding a YZF-R25 in the 250cc class, and R.Fadhil, on an MX King in the 150cc class, both secured their respective national titles. Both riders achieved their championship victories in the fifth round of the series at the Sentul International Circuit, with still one round remaining in the championship in November.
It was a clean sweep for Yamaha in the 250cc class at Sentul with a fifth-round victory to Irwan Ardiansyah, followed by Hendriansyah, and Harlan Fadhilah also achieving a podium finish in third position. In the 150cc class, although R.Fadhil was not quite able to reach the podium, his points from a fourth position in the first race and 14th in the second race were enough for a championship victory.
The MX King has proven to be very competitive at small circuits, such as in previous rounds at the Sentul International Karting Circuit Bogor and the Bukit Peusar Tasikmalaya circuit, but also at large circuits like Sentul International. During the 150cc racing in the fifth round, Yamaha riders were able to open a 1 second gap over riders on the Sport CB150cc model.
