For the third year running Yamaha Motor Australia has opened their doors of their National Marine Office, taking sixty-six 14 year old students from three local schools behind the scenes of the Yamaha head office in Brisbane, Australia. The aim of the program is to introduce school children to job opportunities available in the marine and motorcycle industries.
Over the three day work inspiration program, students had the opportunity to meet and interview Yamaha Motor staff from the each department, partook in industry-related workshops and had an exclusive tour of the Yamaha Factory Racing ASBK Team and the Yamaha Factory CDR off-road Racing Team. Students that took an interest and applied themselves during the program will merit an invitation to the up-coming 2014 Yamaha Student Grand-Prix; an advanced industry-related work-experience program which will be held at the National Marine Office in Brisbane, Australia.
