Australian journalists enjoyed a full custom experience on the Star Stryker launch in Victoria recently.
The test ride started at Melbourne’s Gasolina – a hipster custom bike bar and restaurant - where the 13 riders learned about clay modelling techniques.
The journalists then set out north west towards the famous goldfields area of Victoria and to Rod Hadfield’s Hot Rod Museum where the custom theme continued.
Here they met Steve Barnett from Motor Works Garage, a custom fabricator who specialises in hand formed aluminium.
“It was a great day out. The Stryker was awesome, the roads fast and flowing plus we learned some interesting bike building techniques and saw some of the best custom cars in Australia,” said Chris Pickett from Cycle Torque magazine.
