True to its “Zippy” (active, energetic) name, this model was developed as a new type of sporty, fashionable motorcycle. Its features included a 50cc engine with automatic centrifugal clutch, extra-fat 5.00-8 size rear tire, a long seat and up-flared handlebars to enable great freedom of riding position for a variety of uses, from around-town to light dirt riding. There was also a manual clutch LB50IH and an 80cc LB80IC/IH variation.
