TX500

This was the first Yamaha production motorcycle with a DOHC engine. It had an in-line 2-cylinder layout with 4-valves per cylinder for excellent performance even at high rpm. The model also came with an array of riding-focused functions and equipment such as the world's first IC regulator, a CV carburetor, aluminum wheel rims and a front brake disc.
