This model featured a 200cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with a crankcase reed valve intake, YEIS to smooth out intake pulse, YPVS to heighten exhaust efficiency, a flat valve carburetor for better response and more, mounted on a truss frame designed for a high-level balance of both rigidity and light weight. It was a machine packed full of the strong points of a 2-stroke sport bike such as light handling, agility and powerful acceleration to provide plenty of riding enjoyment in the practical-use range.
