IYM Empowers Dealer Owners to Transform from Dealership to Enterprise
India Yamaha Motor successfully conducted a Dealer Owners Training Program for 20 existing dealers, representing all four regions of India (five dealers from each region), with the support of the India Yamaha CS Team and MSX International (MSXi), Yamaha’s trusted training partner.
Conducted by Yamaha Motor Academy at the Yamaha Chennai Factory from 5th - 7th October 2026, the program was designed to help dealership owners evolve from managing traditional dealerships to leading customer-centric, future-ready enterprises aligned with Yamaha’s long-term vision.
The three-day comprehensive curriculum focused on strengthening leadership capabilities and driving business excellence through key themes, including Know Your Brand, The Global Yamaha Way & Culture Building, Enterprise Transformation, Strategic Visioning, Customer Centricity, Operational Excellence, Financial Management Excellence, and Human Resource Development.
Participants engaged in immersive learning experiences through hands-on activities, collaborative group discussions, and real-world business case studies, enabling practical application of key concepts.
A distinctive feature of the program is the post-training implementation support provided by industry experts from MSXi. Through structured coaching and continuous mentoring, dealers will receive guidance in translating their learning into actionable business initiatives and successfully executing the dealership vision developed during the program.
By investing in dealer leadership development, Yamaha continues to reinforce its commitment to building a future-ready dealer network capable of delivering exceptional customer experiences through long-term vision and strategy, to achieve sustainable business growth in this increasingly dynamic mobility landscape.
The program received outstanding appreciation from participating dealer owners, achieving an average feedback rating of 9.95 out of 10 and an NPS score of 98%, reflecting the program’s effectiveness and strong participant satisfaction.
