New 20-foot Sport Boat Platform, 18-foot Performance Boat Platform and All-New WaveBlaster^® WaveRunner^® Deliver More on the Water to a Wider Customer Base
Yamaha WaterCraft recently unveiled three exciting new products for its 2027 line: new 20- and 18-foot sport boat platforms and the all new WaveBlaster WaveRunner, a single-rider, adrenaline-pumping personal watercraft with an all-new design.

Both websites, yamahaboats.com and yamahawaverunners.com, now highlight the new products for consumers to browse.

“All three of these products expand our reach. The 18-foot platform is designed to grow the Yamaha sport boat lineup and bring more new buyers to the brand, while the 20-foot models expand our lineup wider and further up-market, opening new ground in wake performance,” said Bryan Seti, Vice President, Yamaha Boat Business Unit. “The all-new WaveBlaster builds on a 30-year legacy of the original iconic model. New 205XD, 205SD, AR205, AR200 Models
The four all-new 20-foot sport boats pair Yamaha marine power with the brand's first single-engine DRiVE® system. The lineup replaces Yamaha's long-running 19-foot series.
The 205 and 200 models seat nine, handle open water and still fit in a residential garage. They tow, launch and store like a smaller boat while delivering the comfort and capability of a larger one. It suits first-time buyers, watersports families, current jet boat owners ready to step up and anyone after garage-friendly versatility without giving up features.

AR182 and SX180
Powered by Yamaha's 1.9-liter High Output marine engine and Yamaha jet propulsion, the new 18-foot platform delivers strong acceleration in a compact, garage-friendly footprint, and arrives in two variations — the tower-equipped AR182 with full windshield, and the SX180 with Bimini™ top and windscreen. It’s a lightweight performance runabout engineered to deliver premium Yamaha jet boating characteristics in a compact, versatile format that brings PWC-style fun to a true sport boat layout. The platform hits the sweet spot in recreational boating: large enough to function as a true six-passenger runabout, yet compact and lightweight enough to tow, launch, store and operate with less hassle.

WaveBlaster WaveRunner
More than thirty years after the original earned its following, one of the most iconic personal watercraft in the sport is back. The all-new WaveBlaster WaveRunner is lightweight, compact and brings a new kind of sit-down riding experience to the Yamaha WaveRunner lineup. Where today's runabouts stay flat through a turn, the WaveBlaster leans into the corner like a motorcycle. It rewards short, high-energy runs where line choice, body position and throttle control matter as much as speed.

The WaveBlaster also leads the launch of Yamaha's new Sport class, which brings together Yamaha's most rider-focused WaveRunners. The new class includes the WaveBlaster and the stand-up SuperJet, two single-rider machines built for feel, control and repeatable fun.
