Brazilian Yamaha Rider Bernardo Tibúrcio once again demonstrated his talent and ability to overcome challenges in the fifth round of the 2026 European Motocross Championship, in the EMX250 category. The Yamaha 115 M78 team rider had a solid weekend in Teutschenthal, Germany, securing 5th place overall in the round and earning important points in the championship standings.

On Saturday (May 30th), in dry conditions, the Brazilian delivered a consistent performance and crossed the finish line in 7th position in Race 1. On Sunday (May 31st), however, the rain completely transformed the track conditions, demanding even more from the riders. Despite a series of setbacks, Tibúrcio showed determination to finish Race 2 in 8th place.

"Here (in Germany) is a track that I really liked, I adapted well from the first practice and the bike was perfect. I had a good timed practice, in the first heat I had a good start, I was in the top five for a good part of the race, but I finished 7th. On Sunday (May 31st) it rained a lot, so the track was very muddy, I couldn't see anything, without goggles it was extremely difficult, but I managed to finish well in 8th and in the overall standings in 5th. I'm very happy, we're back to scoring points and the most important thing is that I'm ready for next round in Latvia", said Tibúrcio.

Despite all the difficulties, Bê Tibúrcio maintained a competitive pace and secured 8th place in the race, a result that confirmed his 5th place overall in the German round.

"It started raining heavily before the start. Bernardo made a good recovery, even managing to ride among the leaders, but he had a fall and then needed to change his goggles. The bike stalled during the pit stop, and he even had to continue without goggles after being hit by a rock. Even so, he managed to finish eighth," highlighted Carlos Campano, head of the Yamaha 115 M78 team.

His consistent performance in the German round allowed the Brazilian to climb to 7th position in the overall championship standings, reinforcing his progress throughout the European season. Now, the focus turns to the next round of the EMX250, which will be held in Kegums, Latvia, on June 6th and 7th.
