Beyond the Ride: Yamaha Blends EV Innovation with Meaningful Media Engagement
Yamaha Motor India’s first-ever EV media test ride was designed to be more than just a product showcase – it was an opportunity to build deeper, more meaningful engagement with the country’s automotive media and influencer community. Hosted at the picturesque Aamby Valley – a private township in Lonavala (Maharashtra) from 25th ~ 28th March 2026, the event brought together over 45 leading journalists and creators, resulting in close to 90 test rides of the EC-06, Aerox E and XSR155 Black in a controlled, distraction-free environment.
While the test rides formed the core of the experience, Yamaha added a distinctive personal touch with an exclusive XSR Café Ride led by the management team. This ride created a relaxed and informal setting, encouraging open conversations and direct interaction between Yamaha’s leadership and media participants. It provided a valuable platform for exchanging perspectives, gathering authentic feedback, and strengthening relationships beyond the conventional event format.
The event also served as an opportunity to showcase Yamaha’s broader mobility portfolio. Media attendees were introduced to the latest 2026 Fascino 125 Hybrid scooter, highlighting Yamaha’s parallel focus on hybrid innovation alongside its electric journey.
By seamlessly blending product immersion with experiential engagement, Yamaha demonstrated its commitment not only to future-ready mobility solutions but also to fostering strong, lasting connections with the voices that influence the industry.
