New Scooter YAMAHA ZR HYBRID CONNECTED is Launched in Brazil
Yamaha Brasil once again advances in two-wheel electrification with the launch of the new scooter YAMAHA ZR HYBRID CONNECTED in the Brazilian market. The model is equipped with a mild hybrid system and a 125 cc Blue Core Hybrid internal combustion engine.
Yamaha’s new entry-level scooter in Brazil combines power with fuel efficiency, delivering agile and enjoyable riding for everyday use. Lightweight, practical, and connected to the needs of urban life, the Yamaha ZR Hybrid Connected brings modernity, performance, and confidence to city streets.
With a striking look, the Yamaha ZR features a dynamic and sporty style designed for urban mobility. The design includes a motorcycle-inspired front end with a smoked windshield and sharp rearview mirrors. The smoked windshield enhances the modern and bold style of the Yamaha ZR— a detail that adds value to the design and completes the model’s identity. The LED position light shaped like the letter “Y” adds personality to the front of the scooter and creates a distinctive visual signature associated with Yamaha’s DNA. LED headlights and rear taillights are also featured on the new Yamaha ZR.
Weighing just 98 kilograms (curb weight), the Yamaha ZR is the lightest scooter in its category — ensuring agile, fast, and enjoyable riding in urban traffic. The low weight also contributes to quick acceleration, improved fuel efficiency, and easier maneuverability in traffic or when parking, for example.
