Sunday (15) was another day of good results for Tibúrcio. The Brazilian accelerated strongly and fought on equal terms with his opponents, achieving another third place. With this, he finished third overall in the stage and climbed onto the European podium for the first time.
"We had the second race today and it was very good. I didn't get a good start, but I kept finding my rhythm, passing the guys, the beginning is very intense, but it was very good, an intense preparation for the European Championship next week. I managed third place, I went to the podium, very cool, very happy and now it's about adjusting, so that next week I'm ready for the opening of the European Championship," said Tibúrcio at the end of the stage.
Perez finished the second heat in seventh position, a result that placed him seventh in the overall standings. "Today I had a bad start, I managed to get to sixth position and I'm working to improve. Then, in the Super Sprint I managed to start third and finish fifth, so I'm happy, and we'll see each other next week at the European Championship," he concluded.
The next challenge for the Brazilian duo in the Spanish Motocross Championship is scheduled for April 26th at the Lugo circuit. Before that, Bê Tibúrcio and Salvi Perez will make their debut in the European Motocross Championship on March 22nd.
