Supplier Conference 2026: Strengthening Partnerships for Globally Competitiveness

India Yamaha Motor successfully organized the Supplier Conference 2026 on 27th March 2026 at The Leela Palace, Chennai, bringing together 480 participants, including 182 supplier partners and senior management from Yamaha. The conference was warmly appreciated by supply partners, with its theme – Driving Towards Global Competitiveness and a Resilient Supply Chain as One Team – resonating strongly across the forum.

The event was inaugurated with a compelling address by YMI Group Chairman - Mr. Hajime Aota, who outlined Yamaha’s policy direction and long term vision. This was followed by focused presentations highlighting Marketing Strategy, Technology, and Manufacturing priorities, with special emphasis on Global Quality and Profitable Carbon Neutrality.

Mr. YABUZAKI Osamu from YMC Procurement Strategy Planning shared insights into the Global Procurement Policy, while the IYM Procurement Policy detailed key focus areas such as Quality, Delivery, Cost Competitiveness, Business Continuity Planning, Compliance, and Sustainability. The conference also featured an Award Ceremony, recognizing 17 suppliers for outstanding performance across Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Collaboration.

Additionally, YMRI and Yamaha Robotics showcased their advanced capabilities through dedicated stalls. The event concluded with a networking dinner, reinforcing partnerships and fostering deeper collaboration toward a resilient and globally competitive supply chain.
