February 26, 2026 | YMUS | People

Retired, long-time Yamaha Snowmobile employee Greg Marier was inducted into the prestigious Snowmobile Hall of Fame in ceremonies held last weekend. The Snowmobile Hall of Fame and Museum in St. Germain, Wisconsin celebrates snowmobiling history with vintage and racing sleds, memorabilia, and a Hall of Fame wall honoring inductees who have made significant contributions to the industry. Greg now joins other notable Yamaha inductees such as former YMC President TJ Hasegawa, long-time Yamaha Snowmobile Racing Manager Gordy Muetz, and former YMUS employees Ted Otto and Jim Kedinger. One of Greg’s notable accomplishments was overseeing the introduction of the revolutionary RX-1, the first performance four-stroke snowmobile in the industry. Greg can be seen here in this entertaining video used to introduce the RX-1 in 2003.

A big One Yamaha One Team Congratulations goes out to Greg on this prestigious honor.
