India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. (IYM) has built a state-of-the-art Sports Arena near its Surajpur Plant in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, reinforcing its commitment to education and community welfare. The Sports Arena is located in a Kendriya Vidyalaya (Central School) within the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Campus.

Executed under IYM’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, it was officially handed over to the CISF authorities on 31st January 2026. The new facility is designed to promote physical fitness, discipline, and overall growth among school students and children residing within the campus. Primary beneficiaries include over 1,100 kids from the school as well as surrounding communities, fostering an inclusive and shared sports culture.

Built with an all-weather synthetic (acrylic) surface, the arena supports multiple sports – Basketball, Lawn Tennis, Volleyball, and Pickleball – offering a safe, durable, and low-maintenance environment for regular training and organized activities.

With this initiative, India Yamaha Motor continues to advance its CSR focus on youth development and sports infrastructure, aligning its efforts with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals – particularly SDG 3: Good Health & Well-Being and SDG 4: Quality Education.
