In December 2025, Yamaha Motor Vietnam (YMVN) announced the launch of a new battery support service in Hanoi, aimed at enhancing the convenience of NEO’S electric vehicle users.
The newly introduced service consists of two offerings designed to ensure customers can use NEO’S with greater confidence: the Swapping Service and the Rescue Service.

Swapping Service: Yamaha dealerships in Hanoi are equipped with dedicated NEO’S battery charging and storage systems. When customers visit these locations, they can receive a full charge battery replacement (swap), eliminating the need to wait for charging and reducing battery related concerns during daily use.

Rescue Service: YMVN will work in partnership with the road service supplier ZuttoRide to deliver a fully charged battery to the customer’s location, available 365 days a year. If customers become unable to continue riding due to a depleted battery, they can supply the fully charged battery by rescue service. The special point in this service is: the fully charged battery will be delivered to customer’s location by the NEO’S sponsored by YMVN.
This system helps alleviate concerns related to battery depletion by ensuring mobility even in unexpected situations.

The service will begin operating in Hanoi in January 2026, with plans to expand to other major regions in the future.

In July and November 2025, the Vietnamese government announced a policy to gradually restrict the entry of ICE vehicles into designated areas starting in July 2026.
In line with these regulatory developments, YMVN will continue working to create an environment that allows NEOS customers to use electric vehicles more comfortably.
