Honoring Kevin Norcross:
60 Years at the PGA Show

January 23, 2026 | YMUS | Event

Kevin Norcross’s life in golf began almost as soon as he could walk. The son of a New Jersey PGA Professional, Kevin played in his first tournament at just four years old and attended his first PGA Show at age ten. One of his earliest memories of the game came at the 1966 PGA Championship at Firestone Country Club, where his father competed — and where a young Kevin met Arnold Palmer, who famously bought him a Coke. From that moment on, golf wasn’t just a game; it was a lifelong calling.

Kevin grew up working in his father’s pro shop, learning every aspect of the business from the ground up — caddying, managing the bag room, running carts, and staffing the shop. He turned professional at 18, became a Head Professional by 24, and went on to build an extraordinary career spanning club operations, sales leadership, and executive management. His path took him across the country with roles at golf car sales in New England, golf car distributorship in North Carolina to Canada, golf course management in Massachusetts, dealership leadership in Texas, and ultimately a long and impactful tenure with Yamaha Golf Car, where he has helped launch major initiatives, build new markets, and lead sales, marketing, and distributor networks nationwide.

Attending 60 PGA Shows is a remarkable achievement — but it’s also a reflection of Kevin Norcross’s lifelong dedication to the golf industry. His story is one of passion, adaptability, leadership, and deep respect for the game. Few people embody the spirit of the PGA Show quite like Kevin, and his six decades of attendance stand as a testament to a career — and a life — well spent in golf.

At this years’ PGA Show in Orlando, Florida that concluded last week, Yamaha Golf-Car Company featured a series of standout activations, strategic partnerships, and live demonstrations that highlighted what’s next in golf car solutions and the evolving on-course experience. Attendees were able to experience a custom AriZona Arnold Palmer Half & Half–themed Bistro Car, showcasing a unique collaboration where iconic branding was seamlessly integrated with adaptable fleet solutions. Additionally, the booth featured a golf car giveaway in partnership with Midspring, offering showgoers the opportunity to win a custom golf car.
