Winner and runner-up of the Talent class secure their spots in the Yamaha R3 bLU cRU World Championship
Strategy, excitement, and a great deal of skill were the decisive elements in the Super Final of the Yamalube R3 bLU cRU Latin America, held on the last weekend of November (29th and 30th) at the Zilmar Beux Circuit in Cascavel (PR). Leonardo Marques and Heitor Ourinho, champion and runner-up of the Talent class, respectively, secured the title of the largest single-brand competition on the continent and stamped their tickets to the Yamaha R3 bLU cRU World Championship for next season.
Champion’s Strategy
The R3 Talent champion relied on skill and the advantage he built throughout the season to secure the title. With five victories in the championship, Leo Marques became the class champion by winning Race 1 of the Super Final on Saturday (November 29th). With the title, Leo secured his ticket for the 2026 and 2027 seasons of the Yamaha R3 bLU cRU World Championship and will be tearing up European asphalt next year.
Heitor Ourinho, who arrived as the runner-up in the overall standings, was the only rider to consistently challenge the champion throughout the season. After winning two races in the third round, he heated up the fight for the title. In Cascavel, he secured the runner-up position by finishing second also in Race 1 of the Super Final. This result also places the young Brazilian rider on the grid of the Yamaha R3 bLU cRU World Championship in 2026.
And this is how another incredible season of the Yamalube R3 bLU cRU Latin America comes to an end, once again proving that more than just a competition, this event is a gathering of talent, sportsmanship, and friendship across Latin America—celebrating the love for motorsports. See you in 2026!
