India Yamaha Motor continues to accelerate its commitment to corporate social responsibility by nurturing young minds and strengthening education through meaningful initiatives. As part of this effort, the company is dedicated to creating modern, supportive learning environments by providing the latest infrastructure in schools.
Under Tamil Nadu Government’s flagship initiative, ‘Namma School, Namma Ooru Palli’ (which translates to Our School, Our Village School), Yamaha has taken another major step toward enhancing educational opportunities in government schools near its Chennai Plant. The company donated 85 computers across six schools, enabling more than 2,500 students to access digital learning and develop essential technological skills for the future. This initiative is a step forward in bridging the digital divide and preparing students for a tech-driven world.
Understanding that true education goes beyond the classroom, Yamaha has also invested in sports and physical development. The company upgraded a school playground with a 200-meter athletic track, a football field, and multiple sports courts - benefiting over 1,200 students. These facilities not only encourage physical fitness but also cultivate teamwork, discipline, and holistic growth among children.
With the handover ceremony on October 8, 2025, India Yamaha Motor continues to create lasting impact - empowering students, supporting education, and building stronger, more vibrant communities for a brighter tomorrow.
