India Yamaha Motor (IYM) was delighted to host a delegation from the Auto Component Manufacturers Association (ACMA) at its Surajpur manufacturing facility. The visit was part of ACMA’s ongoing efforts to foster knowledge sharing and strengthen collaboration within the automotive ecosystem.

The delegates were taken on a guided tour of the plant, where they had the opportunity to observe IYM’s advanced manufacturing capabilities firsthand. The visit highlighted our robust production processes, built on a foundation of precision engineering and lean manufacturing principles. At every stage—from the receipt of raw materials to final assembly—stringent quality checks are embedded into the workflow, ensuring that each product meets Yamaha’s global standards.

During the tour, IYM teams provided detailed insights into our approach to operational excellence, covering areas such as safety protocols, process optimization, and workforce skill development. Special emphasis was given to how quality assurance is not just a stage in production but a continuous, company-wide commitment.

The interaction concluded with a constructive exchange of ideas, where both IYM and ACMA representatives discussed emerging trends, opportunities for technological collaboration, and best practices from the global automotive landscape.

This visit not only showcased IYM’s manufacturing excellence but also reinforced our role as an active contributor to the development of India’s automotive component industry. Through such engagements, IYM continues to build stronger industry linkages and promote a shared vision of innovation, quality, and sustainable growth.
