Yamaha Brazil participated in the 26th
Edition of the Japan Festival
Yamaha Brazil participated in the 26th edition of the Japan Festival, held in São Paulo city, Brazil. Considered one of the largest events on Japanese culture in the world, this year’s theme celebrated the 130th anniversary of the Brazil-Japan Friendship Treaty, reinforcing the bonds of cooperation and integration between the two countries.
The event featured more than 50 attractions on the main stage, including traditional dances such as Bon’odori, musical performances, and martial arts demonstrations. Another highlight was the gastronomy area, offering typical dishes from 42 of Japan’s 47 prefectures. The visitors could also enjoy spaces dedicated to pop culture (manga, anime, and cosplay), literature, tea ceremonies, and areas focused on childhood and longevity.
Since 2014, Yamaha Brazil has participated in the festival to reinforce its origins and the legacy it has built in Brazil over the decades. This year, the company celebrated three important milestones: 70 years since the founding of Yamaha Motor in Japan, 55 years of operations in Brazil, and 40 years of its factory in Manaus, in the heart of Amazon rain forest, marking a journey guided by innovation, quality, and respect for local cultures.
In a 120m² booth, visitors were able to see up close the NEO’S CONNECTED electric motorcycle, the MT-07, and the sporty R15. A Yamaha outboard motor was also on display, representing the brand’s strength in the marine segment.
Yamaha Musical was also present with a space where visitors could enjoy a hands-on experience with instruments such as digital pianos, guitars, bass guitars, and acoustic guitars, as well as hosting live musical performances over the weekend.
During the festival, visitors could also access guidance and solutions from Yamaha Financial Services to help make the dream of owning a motorcycle, car, or home more accessible, and to answer any questions along the way.
To further connect the public with Japanese culture and the Yamaha spirit, the booth also featured taiko drum performances in front of the stand. In addition, the visitors were treated to cotton candy offered by a partner company and had the opportunity to purchase exclusive items from the Blu Collection, Yamaha’s line of apparel and accessories.
Yamaha Brazil's participation in the event reinforces the organization's pride in being part of the history of mutual cultural and economic development between Brazil and Japan.
