India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. (IYM) organized the National 3S Grand Prix 2024–25, which is a competition to recognize the efforts of dealership staff. Consisting of five key categories – Technician, Service Advisor, Tele-Caller, Parts Manager, and Sales Consultant, the contest was held in three stages and began with the Regional Contest from 15th August 2024, then through Zonal Contest and final stage.

The final stage, which is the National-level Contest, was held on 24-25th June 2025 at Yamaha’s Surajpur Plant and the top 3 from each category were felicitated by top management. Interestingly, the top winner of Technician category will now go on to represent India at World Technician Grand Prix 2025, which is going to be held in November 2025 in Japan.

The National Technician Grand Prix (NTGP) was launched in 2010 in India and 350 technicians had participated. It is renamed to ‘National 3S Grand Prix’ and has expanded to more categories now. Participation has been growing exponentially each year, with the highest-ever participation of 7,567 contestants this year.

Dealership staff plays a pivotal role in delivering Yamaha’s Premium 3S experience (Sales, Service, and Spares) to the customers. Beginning this year, Yamaha Motor Academy (YMA) has curated & developed unified training program in India to benefit the dealer staff by enhancing their skill and groom them to excel in their profession. This program further reinforces our commitment to bolster the brand's premium image in customer experience.
