Yamaha Motor Argentina: Celebration of 500.000 Units Produced Locally & Announces 5-Year Warranty on Locally Manufactured Motorcycles

To celebrate the production of the first 500.000 units in Argentina, YMARG organized an event with presence of authorities of government, Japanese embassy members, suppliers & press.

This event allowed to all YMARG members to celebrate the 500.000th unit produced in Argentina, an MT03. This important milestone converges with the celebration of 30 years of YMARG in the country, aligned with Yamaha Motors’s 70th anniversary worldwide.

Attendees included the Japanese Ambassador in Argentina (Hiroshi Yamauchi), Authorities of National and Local governments & the presence of authorities of Yamaha Motor Do Brasil: Mauro Iwamura (President) & Helio Ninomiya (Commercial Director).

Currently, the production of Yamaha in Argentina operates on a modern facility, inaugurated in June 2014, known for its level of equipment & technological innovation, where nine different models of motorcycle & one model of ATV (Raptor 700) are produced.

Today, Yamaha Motor Argentina is focused on regional integration, working closely with Yamaha Motor Do Brasil to increase its presence in the South American market and improve competitiveness in the two-wheel mobility segment.

Launch of 5 Years Warranty for units produced locally

Considering this important moment for the brand in Argentina, YMARG launched 5 years warranty for local production models. With this, Yamaha is the first Motorcycle brand in Argentina to offer this period of warranty.

The announcement of this benefit for customers is proof of the commitment that the brand has with quality, innovation and confidence on its manufacturing processes.
