Incolmotos Yamaha presents the Winner
of the National Grand Prix in Colombia
Incolmotos Yamaha in Colombia was the host of the National Grand Prix of Technicians, an exciting event that brought together the top 8 motorcycle mechanics from Yamaha’s Distribution Network across the country. These finalists showcased their skills in technical excellence, customer service, and problem-solving.
The journey to the grand finale began with 150 preselected technicians. From there, 80 people were invited to participate in a virtual theoretical evaluation. The top 30 advanced to a virtual practical test, and the 15 highest-scoring participants underwent an in-person evaluation at their respective stores under real working conditions. Ultimately, 8 outstanding technicians earned their place in the national final, held on June 3 and 4 at the Incolmotos Yamaha assembly plant.
The final round was a thrilling and emotional competition, highlighting each participant’s technical knowledge, diagnostic abilities, and customer service skills. The atmosphere was one of camaraderie, respect, and professional pride.
The winner was Duván Bedoya, a technician from Yamaha’s distribution network in Colombia, who was crowned national champion. He will represent Colombia at the World Technician Grand Prix in Japan this November, proudly carrying the country’s name to this prestigious international event.
