Yamaha Motor Philippines supported Kustomanila, an annual event by the Filipino motorcycle custom community. YMPH showcased moto-exploration and customization in one standout motorcycle: the PG-1. With its timeless design and outdoor versatility, the PG-1 took center stage during a weekend filled with workshops, customization contests, and test ride experiences.

Real-deal test ride experience—and coffee!

The highlight was the PG-1 Outdoor Custom Throwdown; it features three exciting editions spotlighting the PG-1’s versatility and design potential. The first edition, Bikers Build-off, featured five top builders competing head-to-head in a challenge. In just one month, each builder transformed the PG-1 into a unique masterpiece reflecting their vision of the explorer’s identity. Other editions are for Camper and Traveler Builds, which invite PG-1 owners to show off their styles and get inspiration from fellow riders. Beyond competitions, there’s an outdoor-themed explorers’ nook for all PG-1 riders. In this space, visitors can fully experience the custom culture through Kustom Podcasts, allowing them to have ideas on what to explore next. The nook also offers a chance to bond over coffee and have their picture taken at the camping-style photobooth.

While the explorers’ nook invites moments of connection, outside the venue is another exciting story. Yamaha created a specialized PG-1 test ride course built to push the motorcycle to its limits. It has a variety of terrains, rough roads, asphalt, and more, giving an immersive ride that brings the spirit of exploration to life.

At Kustomanila, YMPH continues its dedication to cultivating the moto-explorers’ community with the PG-1. This motorcycle isn’t just built for the outdoors; it’s a canvas for creativity and a statement of individuality.
