MBA Students from Australia Visit YMC
on Bond University’s Japan Study Tour
The General Planning Division of the New Business Development Section welcomed students from Bond University in Australia. The students, currently studying for a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), visited Yamaha Motor's headquarters as part of the school’s Japan Study Tour.
Twenty-one students from various parts of the world showed a keen interest in Yamaha Motor’s manufacturing operations, prospects on global expansion, and new business development trends.
Following the tour of the motorcycle assembly plant and Communication Plaza, AOTA Hajime, Chief General Manager of the Corporate Strategy Center, met with the students, and the future business persons asked the executive questions on YMC's medium- to long-term management strategy.
Participants voiced positive feedback on the event, such as, “I was impressed by how advanced Yamaha Motor's manufacturing technologies were,” “I learned greatly through the dialogue with Mr. Aota,” and “I hope that exchange efforts like this continue in the future.”
