Yamaha Brazil Group Participates
in Events on a More Sustainable Future
Yamaha Group Brazil remains committed to sustainability and building a more responsible future. In March, the company took part in two key events that highlighted the private sector’s role in the global climate agenda and served as a lead-up to COP30, set to take place this November in Belém, Pará, Brazil.
The first event, held in São Paulo, was “Meetings with the Future: Climate Change and the Amazon.” Organized by the World Observatory, PwC Brazil, UN Global Compact – Brazil Network, among other partners, the event brought together voices from the private and public sectors, civil society, and the United Nations to discuss how climate change affects business and the Amazon’s role in the green transition.
Yamaha Brazil’s participation reinforced our alignment with global best practices in social and environmental responsibility, while also offering insights on how the industry can innovate sustainably.
The second event was the 2nd Amazon ESG Forum in Manaus, organized by CIEAM (the Industry Center of the State of Amazonas) and SUFRAMA (the Manaus Free Trade Zone Authority).
The forum brought together companies from the Manaus Industrial Hub, federal and state government representatives, environmental experts, and research institutions to share successful ESG initiatives in the region. The goal was to promote sustainable development in the Amazon and boost the global competitiveness of local industries through responsible practices.
Key topics included energy transition and decarbonization in industry, sustainable innovation in production, social inclusion, diversity, and corporate responsibility.
By taking part in these high-level discussions, Yamaha Group Brazil reaffirms its role as a forward-thinking industry leader. With COP30 on the horizon, Yamaha Brazil continues to push toward a more sustainable, innovative, and future-ready way of doing business.
