TCQ Activity Report Meeting for Improving Manual Quality
Service Information Group, Quality Administration Division, CX Business Unit held a series of Technical Communication Quality (TCQ) activity report meetings for manual production manufacturers as part of our ongoing TCQ activities.
TCQ activities are quality activities that aim to prevent quality problems from occurring, investigate the causes of problems, and prevent them from recurring, in relation to the materials for service information that are edited, produced, and distributed.
This time, we visited three companies involved in manual production and presented awards to those who had made particular efforts in TCQ activities at each company.
At the debriefing session, we shared the results of TCQ activities up to fiscal year 2024, and received a reports from the manual production manufacturers on their approach to TCQ activities. We also exchanged opinions on the activity policies for further quality improvement in the future.
To enhance the quality of manuals from the user's perspective, we will focus on producing work that aligns with the vision of "YAMAHA Manuals are Top-Notch!" as outlined by Service Information G. This will be achieved by providing users with opportunities to experience the products of the manufacturers and gather their feedback and requests.
