The 3rd CMSM Successfully Held in China

February, 2025 | YMSM

YMSM successfully held the 3rd CMSM in February 2025, to share success knowledge with (71) dealers from all over the country, which strengthened the flow of knowledge and experience with each other. In addition, we were glad to have Mr. MATSUBARA Ryota, Manager of MiS Activity Group, Marketing Strategy Division of YMC, share the Global Yamaha Way knowledge in the meeting and give ideas and suggestions on CMSM, giving the participants a clearer understanding of the core concepts of Knowledge that run through Yamaha.

The sharing session of the 3rd CMSM became more developed than the previous. In the morning session of the case presentation, the topics of the 4 success cases not only covered the 3S of YMSM but also showed examples of success experiences from different dealers. Presenters from the YMSM Strategy Division and Service Division respectively brought great inspiration to the attendees and dealers with successful cases of new product promotions and service consulting activities. The dealer representatives from each region were also selected to present 2 success cases. With an equal vote of the participants at the end of the CMSM morning session, the best case and the best presenter were both awarded to the ‘Yamaha Seed Project’from Shandong Province. Worth mentioning is that the case was inspired by a GMSM success case, which he learnt in depth and implemented locally. This case was also positively received by several dealers, most of whom commented that it would probably be implemented in their own areas.

In the afternoon, CMSM followed the teach & learn process of GMSM, and grouped the dealers according to different topics to have in-depth discussions. Many of the dealer representatives were thinking during the T&L session about what success factors could be implemented in each area. Except for the selection of the best learners after the T&L process, different from the previous two CMSM, a satisfaction survey was conducted for the T&L session as well. Not only the dealers who have participated in CMSM before, but also the first time participants all 100% believed that this workshop has inspired their own business, with many positive views expressed.

With the success of this CMSM, the dedicated support of the YMSM Executive Team and the advice given at each stage of the preparation was crucial, which led to a very well-structured and smooth process to organise the CMSM meeting. We also would like to appreciate the support from GMSM MiS team for their training and assistance. The sharing and spreading of knowledge have facilitated the creating and sharing of more localised cases, especially from the dealers. Before the next CMSM, we will again improve the personnel and build a more diversified and localised case base, bringing a more ideal communication environment.
