With the slogan “Showing the skills of the star technician, Revs Your Heart”, YMSM successfully held the 4th Yamaha YDT Technician GP in China. It was the first competition using global models, and 30 elite YTA Sliver licensed technicians gathered from Yamaha flagship stores and Yamaha Motorcycles Sports Center all over China.

The competition schedule lasts for two days, fully integrating the global model content into all aspects of the competition to test the comprehensive abilities of the technicians.

Day1: Qualifying round:
Knowledge of new products and new technology training programs have been incorporated into the written examination to enhance the technicians’ understanding of global products.

Day2: Semi-final and Final:
To adapt to the current market situation, YMSM aims to train technicians who can boost store sales. To this end, we have set higher requirements for them. In semi-final, we have added the installation of Performance dampers and the application evaluation of genuine parts and modified parts by technicians.
In the final, to further evaluate the service level of technicians, we have added a recommendation and explanation section for modified parts and genuine parts, allowing technicians to fully demonstrate their communication skills with users.
