Yamaha Motor Australia recently celebrated its top 20 marine dealers of 2023 with an unforgettable four-day trip to Japan. Organised by the YMA Marine Department, the Elite 20 trip was a tribute to the dedication and success of dealers from across Australia.

The journey began in Tokyo with a night in Shinagawa, followed by a ride on the Shinkansen bullet train to Hamamatsu, home to Yamaha’s global headquarters. Dealers toured the cutting-edge manufacturing plant and explored the Yamaha Communication Plaza, a museum showcasing the brand’s innovation and history.

The group then travelled to Kyoto, immersing themselves in Japan’s rich cultural heritage by visiting iconic temples and gardens. For three dealers—Petroulla McDonell, James Cullen, and Jonathon Hunt—the trip was especially meaningful, as they had participated in a similar dealership trip 20 years ago, then accompanied by their parents.

The Elite 20 trip not only celebrated these dealers’ achievements but also reinforced the strong partnership between Yamaha Motor Australia and its network. This shared commitment ensures Yamaha continues to deliver exceptional products and experiences to customers across the country.
