Asia Region IT Governance Committee in Singapore
Each year, Yamaha Motor Asia Pte. Ltd. (YMAP) convenes the Asia Region IT Governance Committee (RIGC) by inviting IT managers from bases in the region.
This year, 43 participants - a record number - gathered in Singapore. Having the IT medium-term plan and strategies as the core theme, participants shared their plans and engaged in lively discussions on important sub-themes, such as YNS projects (D365, GIMAC, Y-Portal, etc.), cyber security, digital marketing, and DX human capital development.
The committee meeting also included lectures and demonstrations on AI and IoT devices by external IT experts, which gave our internal experts a deeper understanding of the topics.
In addition, we had meetings on twelve individual themes, the highest number ever, providing opportunities for active information sharing among Asian bases.
Through the RIGC activities, YMAP will continue to drive actions that contribute to business growth in the rapidly moving Asian market.
