Yamaha Logo Created with Over 1,000 Motorcycles Appears in Bangladesh!
On March 26, ACI Motors Ltd. – a Yamaha motorcycle dealer in Bangladesh –attempted the Guinness World Record for creating a Yamaha logo with 1,257 motorcycles in the capital city of Dhaka. The attempt was successful and is now registered with the Guinness World Records.
The objective of the event was to increase brand visibility to young consumers in urban areas. Facebook and other SNSs were used to call out for participants, and over 2,000 motorcycle users joined the event. As Bangladesh has shown a remarkable economic growth in recent years, the domestic motorcycle market has expanded every year. With the FZ15 made in India as a core product, Yamaha is gaining a great popularity amongst young motorists as a premium brand.
The event was also a part of the CSR activities in an effort to reduce the number of motorcycle accidents, on the rise recently. Bangladesh celebrities pledged their commitment to safe riding. The scene was televised and widely covered by media.
