Grand Opening of Yamaha Rev Pavilion at Bangkok International Motor Show
Thai Yamaha Motor (TYM) has created a great phenomenon by building a Yamaha Motorcycle Kingdom called “Yamaha Rev Pavilion”, using up more than 1,000 sq.m of the 39th Bangkok International Motor Show area.
Under the concept of “Beyond the Limit”, Yamaha Rev Pavilion is divided into 3 zones, Big Bike Zone, Common Zone, and Leisure Zone. On March 27, 2018, Mr. Shigeo Hayakawa, CEO of TYM and Chief Executives joined the press day for Bangkok International Motor Show 2018. They introduced the opening of the Yamaha Booth as well as the new Yamaha NIKEN with Leaning Multi Wheel (LMW) technology, new Yamaha LEXI, and new seven colors of Yamaha QBIX. Jetrin Wattanasin and 9by9 - the pop artists in Thailand - joined the event as Yamaha brand ambassadors.
Especially, the launch of the New Yamaha LEXI received attention at the show. This scooter is powered by using VVA (Variable Valve Actuation) technology in BLUE CORE 125cc and cooled engine with fuel-saving feature, which is eco-friendly. Together with other various systems, it satisfies every lifestyle of new generation. In addition, TYM proudly presented Yamaha MOTOROiD, which was developed by using AI technology. Besides the broad variety of motorcycles, Yamaha Golf Car, Yamaha WaveRunner and accessories were exhibited and sold at the event which definitely gave exciting experiences to all visitors.
In the Show, TYM was awarded “The Best Design Award 2018” and “Concept Bike Joins to the Show Award 2018”. Mr. Phongstorn Ermongkonchai, Chief of Operation of TYM, and other TYM Executives received the prizes from Dr. Prachin Eamlumnow, President of the event and Mr. Jaturon Komolmit, Vice President of the event.
