Incolmotos Yamaha held the 8th National Technical Grand Prix, an event that brought together 10 of the best technicians from the Distribution Network, Points of Sales and Yamaha Authorized Service Centers nationwide, who demonstrated their knowledge and skills through technical tests and customer services.

For this competition, 68 technicians were pre-selected for obtaining the best qualifications in the YTA Silver Technical Training Seminar. Only 10 of them were selected as finalists at the 8th National Technical Grand Prix.

The participants were tested on their knowledge for electric systems, general maintenance and measuring. They were also examined for their ability to deliver a new motorcycle to its owner.

The first-place winner of the competition was Jonathan Alexander Sierra from the “Mundo Yamaha”, a distributor in Medellin. Second place went to Juan Manuel Morales from a Medellin direct shop, and third place to Ricardo Jaimes Solano from the Bucaramanga direct shop. Sierra won the opportunity to present and prove Colombia’s ability at the Yamaha World Technician Grand Prix, which will be held at Yamaha Motor Co. in Japan in October 2018.

"Thank you to Incolmotos Yamaha for recognizing the work we do every day and to the distributor, Mundo Yamaha, for accompanying me in this journey. There is no word to describe what it feels like to win this award", said the winner.

This event aimed to encourage and appraise the work of all Yamaha technicians, who revolutionize the hearts of customers with their services. “
