Valentino Rossi and Maverick Vinales Take Manila by Storm
Valentino Rossi and Maverick Vinales returned to Manila. They took the time to see a bit of Manila by riding the Light Rail Transit. YMPH partnered with the Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRT) to create the Yamaha Monumento Station. It was the first time for YMPH to have the station named after its brand name. YMPH also had its own signature train that bared the designs of its latest campaign “We Are MIO”.
They set their sights on the Motorcycle Capital of the Philippines. The 10th Avenue in Caloocan is a hotbed of everything related to motorcycles. The city is as a haven that houses anything necessary for riders in the country.
This year, they had more opportunities to personally meet Filipino fans. They answered questions from Yamaha Club members. The event was full of fun and excitement. As their continuous support to promote racing in the Philippines, they awarded medals to the 12 qualifying riders for the Yamaha Grand Prix. The art contest on Valentine’s Day was also an opportunity for the fans to show their love to racing; the top 3 designs were selected and the artists were awarded on the stage alongside their heroes. Valentino and Marverick also gave away signed shirts to lucky online contestants and stayed in the crowd for a while to sign helmets and other items .
They joined the Yamaha Dealers for the ‘Be Unstoppable’ 2018 Dealers Convention in Seda Hotel. As being the icons of Global Racing Excellence and the faces of the ‘Blu is Fast’ Campaign, they showcase the excellent performance that Yamaha motorcycles provide.
